Clinical Manager - 8-bed CVICU

I have enjoyed precepting throughout my nursing career. Now, as a clinical manager, I have had the pleasure of precepting a couple nursing students in their leadership/management courses. I would like to continue giving back to the nursing community as I am able.

Vascular Access and In-Center Hemodialysis

I am available to precept nurses who are interested to train in Vascular Access and In-center Hemodialysis nursing.

Special procedures management, including cardiac cath lab, endoscopy, cardiac rehab, and cardiac imaging.

I manage each of these areas and can precept MSN students. I also have very qualified RN III's that can precept BSN students.

Emergency Departement, Hospice and Pallaitve Care, ICU, Education

Love to teach, to educate. Very passionate about nursing in all specialities. Have lots of experience in numerous areas of Nursing. Teach and prepare RN's for the CHPN exam

Neonatal Intensive Care

I am a Certified Neonatal Intensive Care RN available to precept nursing students desiring an internship in Neonatal Intensive Care Nursing.

Trauma and General Surgery rotation in a level II trauma center. You will care for patients from the time they enter the hospital until discharge in multiple units.

Best suited for last or next to last rotation. Will focus on transitioning to practice while caring for a variety of trauma and general surgery patients. Flexibility with scheduling if needed - we work at least 12hr shifts, weekdays and weekends.

This is for nursing students only and it is for advanced critical thinking knowledge in new nurse icu or in new nurses testing for verts or licensure

Surgical services, Acute Care

Students can on site visit and learn through observation, lecture and hands on experience.

Facilitate an informal, collaborative and mutually respectful environment in which nursing students can learn. Provide a variety of learning experiences with appropriate client populations. Direct the student to resources and evidence-based readings. If appropriate, encourage participation in interdisciplinary team meetings.
